At Relevant, serving and loving our community is at the heart of who we are. That’s why we’re excited to invite you to Serve Saturday, our quarterly event where we come together to make a real difference in the lives of those around us.

Our mission is simple: Serve NOW—because there’s no better time to meet the needs of our community. Whether it’s assisting widows, supporting orphans and foster children, or lending a helping hand to families in need, we’re committed to being the hands and feet of Jesus.

This is what you can expect on March 28, 2026:

Bags of Hope/Welcome Kit Prep (9am - Noon) - volunteers will meet at the church, fill ziplock bags with necessities for those without a home and also include a personal handwritten note on a 3x5 card. In addition, we will be creating welcome kits for new neighbors moving into Ybor.

F.I.T. / Street Outreach (9:00am – 12:00pm) - Join us as we prepare and deliver lunches to our Friends in Transition. Beyond food, we’ll bring hope—sharing necessities, encouragement, and prayer. This is a chance to remind our neighbors without a home that they are seen, loved, and created by God for a purpose. (volunteers will meet at the church)

Just Initiative Homeless Boutique (9am - Noon) - volunteers will meet at the boutique (3309 N 15th St Tampa) and assist with interior and exterior painting, property clean-up, and organizing inside the boutique.

Runner Hydration Stations / Easter Invite (9am - Noon) - volunteers will meet at downtown locations to be determined to hand out water/gatorade to local runners.

Special Needs Home Yard Clean-Up (9:00am – 12:00pm) - together we'll serve individuals with developmental disabilities, we’ll roll up our sleeves to pull weeds, trim hedges, and pressure wash. By serving here, we’re supporting the Specialty Fit Foundation’s mission to inspire, empower, and transform the lives of individuals with special needs. (volunteers will meet at one of their group homes - 2224 Arch Macdonald Dr. Dover)

Water Bottle Outreach / Easter Invite - "Daytime Version" (9:00am – 12:00pm)
Right outside our doors, people are thirsty for both water and the hope that only Jesus can provide. We’ll hand out water bottles on the sidewalk in front of our building and in Ybor, taking advantage of every opportunity to share a smile, listen, and offer to pray for those God places in our path. (volunteers will meet at the church)

Ybor City Nursing Home (10am - 1pm) - volunteers will meet at their facility (1709 N. Taliaferro Ave Tampa) to visit with, listen, and offer to pray with residents (health, strength, purpose, and encouragement that God is not finished with them yet)

Young at Heart Yard Clean-Up (9am - 12noon) - Let’s surround one of our seasoned citizens with love by serving them in a practical way. Together we’ll rake leaves, pull weeds, and spruce up their yard. (volunteers will meet at 7013 Potomac Circle Riverview)
